Tuberville challenged me to a debate

Folks, it finally happened.

Tommy Tuberville has gotten tired of tanning at his Florida beach house and has challenged me to a debate.

Well, “Coach,” challenge accepted.

I’m more than happy to debate Tuberville, because I know that it will prove to the people of Alabama where his priorities actually lie.

Because think about it, when is the last time you heard him say anything of substance? Of actual policy?

He doesn’t talk about lowering health care costs, saving rural hospitals, expanding Medicaid, lowering child care and elder care costs, raising wages, or reforming Alabama’s prisons. He doesn’t talk about improving public education, protecting voting rights, or making sure everyone has a seat at the table, like I have from the beginning of this campaign.

Instead, Tuberville treats politics like a football game. He thinks that the only issues facing Alabama families are fighting off immigrants and Muslims and making sure trans people don’t play sports. He’s spent his time in the Senate supporting the corruption of insider trading by himself and other members of Congress and the Administration, making it more difficult to vote, and ensuring minority voters are not represented in Congress or the state legislature.

I’m running for Governor to give Alabama a leader who is actually focused on the issues facing Alabama families, not juvenile name-calling and political games. If you’re with me, please chip in to my campaign today.
