We did it again
Join our movement
Folks,
It’s Doug.
We did it again. Alabama just held its primary runoff elections, and what we saw made me more confident than ever that we can win this election in November.
Compared to the 2022 runoffs, Republican turnout dropped by 27%, while Democratic turnout surged by 41%.
This is the second election in a row where we have seen Democratic energy growing while Republican turnout softens. That does not mean that our race will be easy. But it means that we’ve got a real shot to win this.
Folks are fed up with the status quo. They are tired of being priced out, ignored, and left behind by leaders in Montgomery who stopped listening a long time ago.
Thousands of Alabamians who have felt counted out for decades are getting involved in the democratic process again. They are organizing, voting, talking to their family, friends, and neighbors, and proving that Alabama is not as locked down as the political class wants people to believe.
I’m building the largest grassroots movement in Alabama history. Tommy Tuberville has millions of dollars at his disposal to attack me. But we have the people, and that will make all the difference.
If you’re with me, can you please chip into my campaign before our critical end-of-month deadline?
Thank you,
Doug

We’ve got another for the gerrymandered districts. I’m going to try to vote Shomari back in District 2. August
How did I not even know we had a runoff?‽!!!
