Folks,
Tommy Tuberville is going to try to win this election on the airwaves. We’re going to try to win it by meeting folks where they are, in every community of Alabama. And to do that, we need to build the most ambitious voter outreach operation in Alabama history.
My team and I have spent the last few weeks figuring out what that looks like. Today, I’m proud to announce that over the next few weeks, we are going to be launching a massive volunteer voter outreach operation led by precinct captains in every corner of the state.
Each precinct captain will be responsible for organizing voter outreach and turnout efforts in their own community. We’ve set an ambitious goal of having a precinct captain in just about every precinct in the state.
If you or someone you know is committed to this movement, fired up about building a better Alabama, and ready to serve your community, please come to our interest meeting next week on August 27th in Birmingham.
I’m excited to see this program take shape, but we need your help to get it off the ground. If you can’t become a precinct captain yourself and want to support our volunteer operation, please make a contribution to my campaign today.
Thank you,
Doug Jones

Now this was the email I've been waiting for! I know the constant donation asks are a necessary evil, but this is the kind of contribution I'd be much more inclined to make. Will there be any interest meetings closer to Huntsville? And how many hours per week should one expect to dedicate to this role?
My name is Rebecca Gallogly. I will be back in Alabama by September 14. If that’s not too late to start my work, I would be honored to serve as a precinct captain for the Doug for Alabama campaign.
